- Titre : Hyperfractal cities : modeling urban geometry and traffic through dimension
- Présentateur : Geoffrey Deperle (INRIA)
- Résumé : In this presentation, we introduce the hyperfractal model, a mathematical framework for describing the geometry of cities and urban traffic. Each hyperfractal city is characterized by a dimension that can be identified through mobility data. We first introduce the concept of dimension and present algorithms to estimate this dimension in real-world cities. We then illustrate an application of this theory through a parking search problem and show how the model can also be used to generate synthetic traffic data.
